%3Cb%3EChapel%20of%20St.%20Archangel%20Michael%3C%2Fb%3E%3Cbr%2F%3EThe%20main%20painting%20on%20the%20altar%2C%20which%20dates%20from%201761%2C%20depicts%20St.%20Michael%20the%20Archangel%20as%20the%20victor%20over%20the%20devil.%20The%20painter%20Francesco%20Solimena%20%281657-1747%29%20of%20Naples%20is%20said%20to%20be%20its%20author.%20In%20the%20altarpiece%20above%20it%20is%20a%20wooden%20gilded%20relief%20of%20St%20Michael%20with%20a%20sword%20and%20statues%20of%20archangels%2C%20probably%20by%20Richard%20Prachner%20%281705-1782%29.%20The%20statues%20at%20the%20bottom%20represent%20St%20Gabriel%20and%20the%20Guardian%20Angel%20with%20a%20little%20boy%20treading%20on%20a%20scorpion.%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0AThe%20ceiling%20fresco%20by%20Johann%20Lucas%20Kracker%20%281719-1779%29%20depicts%20St.%20Michael%20the%20Archangel%20in%20the%20glow%20defeating%20the%20devil.%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0AOpposite%20the%20altar%20is%20the%20original%20rococo%20confessional.%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0AThis%20chapel%20contains%20the%20eternal%20light%2C%20a%20symbol%20of%20the%20presence%20of%20Christ%20in%20the%20church.
%3Cb%3EChapel%20of%20St.%20Ignatius%20of%20Loyola%3C%2Fb%3E%3Cbr%2F%3EThe%20main%20image%20on%20the%20altarpiece%20represents%20St%20Ignatius%20praying%20in%20the%20Manresa%20Grotto.%20The%20painting%20above%20it%20depicts%20St.%20Peter.%20Both%20are%20the%20work%20of%20the%20Jesuit%20brother%20and%20painter%20Ignatius%20Raab%20%281715-1787%29.%20The%20sculptural%20decoration%20of%20the%20altar%20is%20the%20work%20of%20Ignatius%20Platzer%20%281717-1787%29%20and%20features%2C%20in%20particular%2C%20a%20pair%20of%20gilded%20statues%20on%20the%20sides%20of%20the%20altar%3A%20on%20the%20left%2C%20St.%20Francis%20Borgia%20with%20the%20Bible%20and%20on%20the%20right%2C%20St.%20Francis%20Regis%20with%20a%20cross%20in%20his%20right%20hand.%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0AAs%20in%20the%20chapel%20of%20St.%20Francis%20Xavier%2C%20a%20white%20stucco%20statue%20from%20the%20mid-18th%20century%2C%20this%20time%20of%20St.%20Ivan%20in%20the%20tomb%20with%20a%20rope%20at%20his%20feet%2C%20lies%20under%20the%20altar%20mense.%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Cbr%20%2F%3E%0D%0AThe%20ceiling%20fresco%20in%20the%20chapel%20depicts%20St%20Ignatius%20of%20Loyola%20with%20angels.%20It%20was%20painted%20by%20Johann%20Lucas%20Kracker%20%281719-1779%29.
